Enjoy a delicious lunch at a hidden family restaurant in a nature reserve, where the views are as beautiful as the food.

Visit to a Local Winery

End the day with a visit to a young winery, producing outstanding still wines since 1990. The vineyard views are a perfect way to end a day of exploration.​

Funchal – The Heart of Madeira

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before setting out to explore Funchal, the vibrant capital and center of the island's business, culture, and social life.

Explore the rich history and landmarks of the city with a local guide. Learn about Madeira’s fascinating past and uncover the secrets of Funchal's most iconic sights.​​

Lunch at Local Restaurant

Enjoy a delicious lunch at a cozy local restaurant where you can choose from a variety of dishes. Be sure to try the traditional honey cake for dessert.

Free Time

Spend the afternoon at your leisure, exploring more of Funchal or relaxing at your hotel

Optional Activities

Visit the Tropical Garden at Palácio Monte. Take the cable car up for panoramic views of Funchal, or for the adventurous, experience a thrilling ride down the mountain in traditional wicker toboggans.

Drive through a mystical forest and stop to admire waterfalls on the way to Porto Moniz, famous for its natural volcanic pools. The crystal-clear ocean water flows into these pools, providing a perfect spot for a swim (or for photos on the shore!).

Scenic Drive and Group Lunch

Continue along the island’s winding roads, enjoying breathtaking views before sitting down for lunch at a local restaurant.​

Day 6

Eastern Madeira – Levadas, Christ Statue, and Coastal Views

We begin our journey to the eastern part of Madeira.

Pico do Arieiro and Levada Walk

Our first stop is Pico do Arieiro, the island’s second-highest peak. We’ll enjoy a walk along one of Madeira's famous levadas (irrigation channels), offering scenic views of the surrounding landscapes.

Visit to São Lourenço and the Christ Statue

Continue our journey to São Lourenço, a stunning peninsula, and visit the Christ Statue, offering breathtaking ocean views similar to the one in Lisbon.

Group Lunch

Enjoy lunch at a restaurant with amazing views, savoring the best local flavors.

Cocktails by the Ocean

Our final stop will be a beach with stunning views, where we’ll enjoy cocktails as the day winds down.
