We’ll visit two of Bordeaux’s most celebrated wineries and a smaller, yet highly acclaimed, vineyard that’s opening its doors exclusively for our group. You’ll taste some of the world’s finest wines, highly rated by experts. Plus, we’ll offer you the unique opportunity to create your own custom wine blend at one of the legendary Médoc châteaux.

Day 1

Arrival

Arrival in Bordeaux

We’ll transfer from the airport to our hotel, conveniently located in the heart of Bordeaux, close to charming streets, restaurants, and bars. This prime location ensures we’re always just a short walk from all the main attractions.​

Enjoy a welcome dinner, where we’ll begin to get to know one another.

In a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, we’ll set the tone for the rest of the tour.​

Day 3

Saint-Emilion Wine Tour

Enjoy breakfast before we head out for a day of wine tasting.

Visit Château Pavie

We’re off to Saint-Emilion, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its vineyards. Our first stop is Château Pavie, one of the top producers in the region. This estate, renovated in 2012, is famous for producing Premier Grand Cru Classé (A) wines. We’ll explore the château and its cellars before tasting its exceptional wines.

Lunch at a Local Produce

Next, we’ll visit a smaller wine producer who is fiercely independent, making incredible wines despite not being part of the big names. Here, we’ll hear their fascinating story and enjoy lunch, paired with delicious wines.

Explore Saint-Emilion

After lunch, we’ll wander through Saint-Emilion, a town that has preserved its medieval charm. We’ll visit the monolithic church, catacombs, and the cave of the hermit Emilian—access to these restricted areas is a special privilege!

Sparkling Wine Tasting

Saint-Emilion is also home to some delightful sparkling wines, and we’ll enjoy a tasting paired with almond macarons.

Dinner on Your Own

After a full day of exploration and tastings, enjoy dinner at your leisure in Saint-Emilion.

Day 5

Market Visit and Oyster Tasting

Discover the history of Alghero, a town with both Italian and Spanish influences. Learn how it was founded by the Genoese Doria family and later came under Aragonese control.​

We’ll visit a local market, where you can browse fresh produce and regional specialties.

Group Transfer to the Airport

After a final taste of Bordeaux, we’ll transfer you to the airport for your flight home.​

Day 2

Bordeaux City and the Wine Museum

Our expert guide, Natalia, will share her knowledge of Bordeaux’s winemaking history. With years of experience working with important guests and evaluating wines in local competitions, Natalia is a true expert. She’ll guide us through the history of Bordeaux, which dates back to the 6th century BC and has been a hub for winemaking since the 1st century BC.​

City Tour

Explore Bordeaux’s architectural wonders, including the Grand Théâtre, Quinconces Square, Tourny Alley, the Notre-Dame Church, and Saint-André Cathedral, all set along the beautiful Garonne River.​​

Lunch at Le Cabanon Marin

Enjoy lunch at Le Cabanon Marin, a seafood restaurant known for its fresh catch (payment on-site à la carte).​

Visit to the “City of Wine” Museum

This world-famous museum opened in 2016 and is a must-see for wine lovers. Here, you’ll explore the history and culture of wine, with exhibits from the world’s major wine-producing countries. You’ll also have the chance to taste wines at the museum’s wine bar and enjoy panoramic views from the observation deck.​

Cocktail Bar

In the evening, join us for cocktails at a trendy local bar. Bordeaux is beautiful by day, but it’s equally stunning at night!​

Day 4

Médoc Wine Tour

Next, we’ll visit Château Pape Clément, a Grand Cru Classé estate in the Pessac-Leognan region. Here, we’ll not only taste wine but experience the grandeur of one of Bordeaux’s most prestigious châteaux.

Small Family-Owned Winery Visit

We’ll visit a small, family-owned winery, where the owners will open their doors just for us—even though it’s their day off. We’ll learn the secrets behind Bordeaux’s famous wines and enjoy a tasting of their fantastic wines.

Château Pape Clément

Today, we head to the Médoc, home to some of the most prestigious and expensive châteaux in the world. The region is famous for its “drink of the gods,” and we’ll dive deep into the winemaking culture here.

Create Your Own Wine Blend

At Château Les Grands Chênes, we’ll have the unique opportunity to create our own custom wine blend. What better souvenir from this legendary wine region than a bottle of wine you crafted yourself?

Château Pape Clément

We’ll wrap up our day with a tasting at Château Pape Clément, enjoying their prestigious Grand Cru wines.
